“Time to Pretend”- Jingle Punks Hipster Orchestra (MGMT cover)

The song translates really nicely to string instruments. Who knew?

And yes, when I’m overworked and stressed out by the semester, I run right to classical/orchestral music.

Something about Justin Vernon’s voice and the piano that makes this work so well. Special thanks to Matt T. for reminding me of this recording’s existence. Its good to have friends who are as passionate about music as you are.

Absolute class. A very good cover of The Cure’s late-’80s release. If anything, I think its better than the original.
