A closing monologue from the movie that’s been on my mind a lot lately. People have drawn different conclusions about the quote. To me, the monologue appears to acknowledge that there are people content with company, but he has found his own niche of contentment without them. I like to think that’s the place where I am right now; just “one of those lights, slightly brighter than the rest.”
